One of the greatest challenges with pituitary disease is prompt diagnosis. Primary care plays an essential role in identification of patients that might have pituitary disease. Rural GPs often work without significant Specialist input and need to be aware of pituitary disease diagnosis.

Osteoporosis is common and with the ageing population becomes a significant part of the care plan of many patients GPs will encounter. Therapies continue to evolve and GPs need to understand the pros and cons of different therapies.
This education session will cover recognition of the range of pituitary disease that might be seen in general practice as well as an update on approach to osteoporosis for primary care.
