Family Planning NSW is delivering two online webinars for Aboriginal Health Workers in Western NSW on cervical screening.

This online training aims to:

  • provide Aboriginal Health Workers with an update to cervical cancer screening including recent changes to self-collection
  • build capacity of Aboriginal Health Workers to communicate key information regarding cervical screening to Aboriginal women within their communities

The training will cover key topics on cervical screening including:

  • overview of cervical cancer and cervical screening
  • impacts of cervical cancer in Aboriginal communities
  • Cervical Screening Test process (clinician collected and self-collected)
  • useful resources for engaging with community

  • MONDAY 24TH OCTOBER 2022 – 2:00-3:30PM
  • WEDNESDAY 2ND NOVEMBER 2022 – 11:00AM-12:30PM
