WNSW PHN: (Bathurst) Palliative Care – Cancer Pain

GPs play a key role in managing cancer pain and improving patients’ quality of life. This session covers the complexity of cancer pain, when and how to use opioids safely, and the essential skill of opioid rotation to optimise care and minimise harm. It supports GPs as primary care providers to deliver effective symptom control, reduce hospital admissions, and build confidence in palliative care.
