Our 2022/23 Annual Report is now available

Western NSW Primary Health Network (WNSW PHN) is pleased to announce the release of its Annual Report for financial year 2022 – 2023.

The 2022/23 Annual Report showcases our key achievements and initiatives that have contributed to creating positive change and improving health and wellbeing in our region.

Over the year, our team has built and maintained strong relationships with stakeholders, service providers and the broader community, who have shared our vision and mission to improve health outcomes for our population.

Amongst other activities and initiatives, some of the highlights over the 2022/2023 financial year saw us invest $350,000 in grants to residential age care homes, $34 million to commission 91 health services, we held 82 educational events with over 1,500 attendees, and established new and enhanced partnerships with the likes of Prestantia, Black Dog Institute, AGPAL, ECHO and more. Our vision is to lead, support and strengthen person-centred, primary health care in our region, with consumers and communities at the heart of everything we do. The Annual Report provides greater detail in how we have aligned our activities to meet our strategic goals of:

  • Goal 1 “ Engage with communities and stakeholders to improve health and wellbeing in our community
  • Goal 2 “ Strengthen health system reform through service integration, innovation and place-based initiatives
  • Goal 3 “ Lead evidence-based commissioning
  • Goal 4 “ Support high-quality sustainable primary health care
