Western NSW Primary Health Network (WNSW PHN) is undertaking an After-Hours Needs Assessment project to better understand access to primary healthcare outside of standard hours and to inform future service planning across the Far West and Western regions.
Your expertise and experience are vital for understanding current service provision and, identifying potential gaps, to help guide potential future planning considerations.
After-Hours Services Survey
As part of the After-Hours Needs Assessment, WNSWPHN is seeking feedback through two online surveys for:
The surveys focus on experiences of accessing and delivering after-hours care across Western NSW and are open now.
Consultation Workshops
These workshops are part of a broader After-Hours Needs Assessment project, which aims to understand the regions access to safe, timely and appropriate care outside of standard GP hours.
Why get involved?
Accessing healthcare after-hours can be challenging, particularly in rural and regional communities. Your insights will help us:

- Local service providers and stakeholders
Workshop format
- Most workshops will be held online (virtual)
- One in-person workshop will be held in Dubbo
- Each session will run for approximately 1.5 to 2 hours
