Western NSW Primary Health Network (WNSW PHN) was proud to be an exhibitor at the Rural Medicine Australia 2025 (RMA25) event held in Perth WA over three days, 22nd to 25th October 2025. RMA25 was hosted by Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) and Rural Doctors Association of Australia (RDAA).

The annual RMA event is Australia’s flagship conference for rural doctors, medical students, and health professionals. The event is a key opportunity for advancing rural healthcare through professional development, innovation, and collaboration.

WNSW PHN attendance at RMA25 provided a valuable platform to showcase the unique employment and lifestyle opportunities across Far West and Western NSW. WNSW PHN team members who attended RMA25 said the positive engagement spoke to the strength and dedication of the rural health workforce.

Natalie Camilleri, Manager Practice Development at WNSW PHN, attended RMA25 and said, “We engaged with 43 visitors at our booth, including 24 GPs, registrars, and medical students. It was heartening to reconnect with practitioners already serving in our region, and meet GPs from Blayney, Coonabarabran, Condobolin, Mudgee, Narromine, and Wellington.”

Gerald Chitsunge, Senior Manger Partnerships and Strategic Projects at WNSW PHN, also attended RMA25 and said “The conference was a valuable platform to strengthen relationships with key partners such as RDAA, ACRRM, Rural Doctors Network, Headspace, Royal Flying Doctor Service, Maari Ma Health, GP Supervisors Australia, Joint College Training Services and many others. At WNSW PHN we know these connections are essential to building a collaborative and sustainable rural health system.”

By raising awareness and building partnerships, WNSW PHN is helping to shape a stronger, more connected future for health in Far West and Western NSW.
