The Mental Health Nurse Incentive Program (MHNIP) in Western NSW provides support in a primary care setting to people with severe and persistent mental health disorders during periods of significant disability.
This care is coordinated using credentialed mental health nurses who support individuals in collaboration with their carers, doctors and other services, and provide clinical care and access to appropriate interventions.
