In Australia each year, more than 3000 people die by suicide, and an estimated 65,000 people attempt suicide.

Lifeline will receive more than 1 million calls to the 13 11 14 telephone crisis service, and also receive contacts through text or call back services. Approximately 100,000 people will be deemed at high or imminent risk of suicide.

This webinar aims to introduce primary care practitioners to issues around mental health. The webinar will provide evidence-based techniques and skills that can improve quality of life for people with pain. It is relevant to a wide range of practitioners who encounter people with pain including chiropractors, nurses, osteopaths and physiotherapists.

The webinar will help practitioners to enhance building rapport and the therapeutic alliance with their patients, as well as equip them with practical skills to use in practice.
