In this webinar Dr Jan Orman will talk to Dr Kathryn Hutt, Director of the Doctors Health Advisory Service in NSW, a GP with experience working for both AHPRA and a large professional indemnity provider as well as with doctors in distress.

They will discuss the realities of the health practitioner complaints process with special emphasis on the ways in which we can maintain our personal wellbeing in what is always a challenging and potentially very distressing process.

Learning outcomes:

By the end of the webinar participants will be able to:

  1. Explain the kinds of issues that lead to a complaint against a health practitioner
  2. Display understanding of the personal impact of a complaint on a practitioner
