My Health Record can provide access to accurate and relevant clinical information uploaded by a range of healthcare providers (GPs, hospitals, pharmacists), that may assist in improving quality of life, care coordination and reduce potential medication misadventures.

This webinar, delivered in collaboration with the Australian Digital Health Agency, will explore the benefits of using My Health Record through a case study to assist attendees’ understanding of how to use the clinical information in My Health Record and apply it to everyday workflow/practice or care in the aged care sector. There will also be an opportunity for participants to ask questions.

1. Describe the potential benefits of using My Health Record when supporting care for patients in residential aged care facilities
2. Articulate how residential aged care facility staff can utilise My Health Record
3. Demonstrate how to access My Health Record when offsite from the practice via the Provider Portal.
