Dr Amanda Johns is a Pain and Rehabilitation Medicine Specialist. Dr Johns will be discussing current prescribing practice of patient with Chronic Pain and looking at the realistic expectations with patients when undertaking medication trials for chronic pain patients. She will also discuss medicinal cannabis evidence in chronic pain so information can be communicated to patients to allow them to make an informed decision. Mr David Monck is a Clinical Nurse Consultant with 20 years of experience in acute and chronic pain.
Ms Susan Rogers, Pain Network Manager from the ACI will be giving an ACI update that will include status of the Pain Network Evidence review, Pain Services Audit and the real time prescription monitoring system.
