WNSW PHN releases 2025–26 Annual Report

Western NSW Primary Health Network (WNSW PHN) has released its 2025–26 Annual Report, highlighting a year of significant progress, partnership and investment in improving primary healthcare across Western and Far West NSW.

The report showcases the work undertaken alongside general practices, Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations, health professionals, service providers and communities to strengthen access to care and respond to the diverse health needs of one of Australia’s largest and most geographically dispersed PHN regions.

During 2025–26, WNSW PHN increased its investment in commissioned services by more than $10 million, supporting expanded services and initiatives across priority areas including Aboriginal health, mental health, urgent care and aged care.

The report also highlights continued progress under the Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan 2024–2026, initiatives to strengthen and attract the regional primary healthcare workforce, and the achievement of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and ISO 27001 Information Security Management Systems certification.

A significant milestone for the year was the development and launch of the WNSW PHN Strategic Plan 2026–2030, shaped through engagement with communities, health professionals, service providers and Aboriginal health leaders and providing a roadmap for the organisation’s future direction.

The stories and achievements outlined in the Annual Report demonstrate the impact of strong local partnerships and a continued commitment to improving access, equity and health outcomes for communities across Western and Far West NSW.

The full 2025–26 Annual Report is available on the WNSW PHN website.
