Celebrating the achievements of Orange’s NAIDOC Week Award winners

NAIDOC Week was celebrated in Orange last week, with the NAIDOC Ball and Awards Night rounding off the celebrations.

WNSW PHN was honoured to sponsor two awards for the evening:

– Male Elder of the Year, which was awarded to Uncle Neil, and
– the prestigious Black and Deadly Award, which was awarded to Aunty Pam Boney.

Well done and massive congratulations to all the award winners, as well as the event coordinators who put on a fantastic night.

It was great to celebrate the many achievements for First Nations people and hear the significant contributions the award recipients make to their community.

Our team had a great time celebrating with the award winners and NAIDOC Ball attendees.
