Benefits of Telehealth in Residential Aged Care Facilities

The Telehealth in Residential Aged Care Facilities Program (TRAC) has recently been launched in Broken Hill and Dubbo, using video consultations to improve access to health professionals. Dr Ai-Vee Chua of Dubbo Family Doctors provided the first consultation to an aged care resident at Catholic Healthcare Holy Spirit.

Public Consultation – Secondary use of My Health Record Data

The Commonwealth Department of Health is consulting with the public on how data in the My Health Record system may be used in the future.  Public consultations are being held to give people the opportunity to provide input about who should be able to access My Health Record data, for what purposes and what the oversight arrangements should be.
