Occupational Dust Diseases Fundamentals Training

Print

Identify occupational lung disease earlier and improve health outcomes.

Occupational dust diseases remain a significant and preventable cause of illness in Australian workers. Yet many affected workers first present to their General Practitioner with symptoms that can be difficult to recognise as work-related.

The Occupational Dust Diseases Fundamentals Training is a practical, evidence-based education program designed specifically for General Practitioners, with a strong focus on supporting clinicians working in regional, rural and remote communities. Delivered by leading experts in occupational medicine, respiratory medicine, radiology and workplace health, this program provides the knowledge and confidence needed to identify, assess and manage workers exposed to hazardous dusts.

Whether you are new to occupational health or looking to strengthen your respiratory assessment skills, this training will provide practical tools you can apply immediately in clinical practice.
