Homelessness Community Consultations – Dubbo

Western NSW Primary Health Network (WNSWPHN) is developing a Needs Assessment to better understand the health and wellbeing needs of people who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of homelessness across the Western NSW region. To ensure this work reflects real experiences, we want to hear directly from the community.

People living in the Western NSW region are invited to take part in a community consultation. These sessions will help us understand the challenges people face when trying to access health care, what supports are currently helpful, and what services are needed to improve health and wellbeing for people experiencing homelessness.

Your voice is important. What you share will help shape future planning and ensure health services in the region better meet the needs of people experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

Please note: Light refreshments will be provided, and you are welcome to bring support people if needed.

At the consultation, you will have the chance to:

  • Talk about the health needs you see for people having difficulty in accessing services
  • Share your experiences using health services in Western NSW
  • Tell us what services or supports would make it easier for people experiencing homelessness to access the care they need

There are no right or wrong answers, we simply want to hear your views. Participation is voluntary, and anything you share will be treated with respect and kept confidential.

We hope you can join us. Your insights will make a valuable contribution to improving health services for people experiencing homelessness across Western NSW.
