This activity supports GPs to provide evidence‑based care in the identification, investigation, and management of primary aldosteronism. It focuses on recognising patients who may benefit from screening, applying updated testing strategies using aldosterone, renin and the aldosterone–renin ratio (ARR), and accurately interpreting results to guide further investigation and clinical decision‑making. The activity also explores current guideline‑directed treatment options, referral pathways, and coordination of care to support timely diagnosis, reduce cardiovascular risk, and improve patient outcomes in general practice.
