Alcohol and Othe Drug (AOD) Treatment Pathways Education and Information Session

Presented by Professor Paul Haber, this session aims to increase knowledge and awareness around AOD trends, treatment options, and Opioid Dependence Treatment (ODT) processes and supports available. The education/information sessions will provide an opportunity to engage primary health care workers and improve outcomes for AOD clients accessing primary health care.

Professor Paul Haber is a consultant gastroenterologist and addiction specialist at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Clinical Director of Drug Health Services, Sydney Local Health District. He has been Head of the Discipline of Addiction Medicine, University of Sydney since 2009 and is the program lead for the Opioid Dependence Treatment Education Program (OTEP).
