What Works, Where It Matters: Strengthening Integrated Rural Mental Health Systems, Workforce and Communities.
The 2026 Rural Mental Health Conference brings together people working across regional, rural and remote Australia to strengthen mental health, wellbeing and recovery.
Held over three days on the Gold Coast, the conference focuses on practical learning, evidence-informed approaches and solutions grounded in rural experience. The 2026 program moves beyond identifying the challenges to focus on what works, how effective approaches can be implemented and how they can be sustained.
Key areas include prevention and early intervention, suicide prevention, digital mental health care, stepped care and service navigation, neurodivergence, women’s wellbeing, climate and disaster recovery, workforce sustainability and community-led approaches.
Attendance provides over 15 hours towards CPD points, with a personalised certificate of attendance.
