Presented by Dr Christopher Huang and Dr Patrick Lim, this session will support GPs to manage common spinal presentations across the lifespan, including acute and chronic back pain and scoliosis in children. The session will focus on evidence‑based management in primary care, including which interventions are effective and when further investigation is required. GPs will gain an overview of current neurosurgical approaches, including recent practice updates, early identification of paediatric scoliosis, and indications for specialist referral. Local referral pathways will be outlined to support timely, appropriate and coordinated care.
