Annual Immunisation Update – Orange

The Western NSW Primary Health Network (WNSW PHN) is holding an Annual Immunisation Update conference in Orange, NSW. The conference focuses on providing the latest immunisation updates, best practices, and addressing vaccine-related concerns.

Learning outcomes

  • Summarise current vaccination advice for COVID-19, influenza, pneumococcal and RSV, and describe how immunisation reduces disease transmission
  • Identify and safely manage anaphylaxis following immunisation
  • Use AIR reports to support data cleansing and quality improvement activities
  • Identify key travel-related vaccine recommendations and apply current guidelines to assess risks and plan safe, evidence-based vaccination strategies for travellers
  • Describe current meningococcal disease vaccine recommendations and high-risk groups, and apply evidence-based strategies to support timely vaccination to reduce morbidity and mortality
