Orange Training/Clinical Governance Day - LHDs, NSW Ambulance and Aeromedical Operations

The day is aimed to share experiences and to learn among various disciplines - Ambulance Service, Aeromedical Operations and in-hospital Critical Care specialities.
A part of the day will be available by videoconferencing (except the first demonstration session and hand-on workshops) including our regular quarterly M&M as the last session.
CPD points will be arranged. Registration is required for catering and planning in being 'COVID-safe".
Ruby would also like to ask her experienced colleagues, doctors and paramedics, to volunteer as faculty if interested.

12:00 Panel Discussion - what’s the distance/benefit ratio for going
into a regional trauma centre

14:10 Quick lectures on Haemorrhage Control and MTP/Ventilatory
mangement in chest trauma/Neuroprotection ~15 minutes each
14:55 Workshop - haemorrhage control (direct control/combat gauze;
splinting + pelvic binder; MTP and RTP)
15:10 Workshop - needle decompression, finger thoracostomy and
ICC; US for diagnostics
15:25 Workshop - neuroprotection strategies and appropriate
destinations
