APNA - Psychological distress in primary health care

Date: 16-09-2020 19:00:00 to 20:30

When 16 September 2020 at 7:00pm - 8:30pm

The World Health Organization defines mental health as ‘a state of well-being in which every individual realizes his or her own potential, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution to her or his community.’

With 10.6% of the Australian population receiving Medicare subsidised mental health-specific services in 2018-19, it is imperative that nurses working in primary health care can provide assessment and practical interventions in alignment with their individual scope of practice.
