Improving your understanding of the MBS

The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) is hosting a number of free webinars throughout September and October 2022. These webinars are part of their Improving the sustainability of your practice series, which is proudly supported by CommBank Health.

This webinar will provide an overview of how to improve your understanding of the Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS). The MBS can be highly complex and questions about item interpretation are common. The session will cover:

  • resources available to support MBS use and interpretation
  • how to ensure your use of the MBS is compliant
  • understanding your billing profile – how to find information about your billing profile from common practice software systems
  • RACGP resources to assist with MBS use (eg MBS online tool).

There will be an opportunity for attendees to ask questions of the presenters.
