This virtual education meeting will provide an overview of autism and ADHD. Looking particularly at the GP’s role in surveillance, management and referral. Treatment paradigms and specific non-pharmacological and drug options and how the GP can complement other practitioners will also be discussed.

Paediatric Care Coordination Service
Presented by: Tammy O’Connor - Snr Manager Paediatrics Child & Family Wellness| WNSW LHD
This new service works closely with the family and their local and metropolitan healthcare teams to meet the needs of the child through shared care plans, technology-enabled healthcare eg. Telehealth consultations and by providing education and training for local staff and carers.
Learning outcomes
- Recognise the red flags associated with paediatric behavioural issues
- Discuss the role of GPs in childhood behavioural disorder surveillance, management and referrals
- Outline how GPs can provide ongoing support to children with behavioural disorders and their families
