Welcome to the first edition of Doctor’s Notes, a new communique for General Practice providing updates on Western NSW Primary Health Network (WNSW PHN) initiatives and news from your area. It has been a productive start to 2016 for WNSW PHN as we conclude a series of GP and Community Consultations across the region. Support for General Practice and Aboriginal Medical Services is at the heart of what we do and we appreciate the high level of engagement by GPs in shaping our strategic direction. In this edition we introduce you to our Clinical Councils that play an important advisory role for our Board of Directors and our staff. Going forward we aim to make this newsletter both relevant and brief, and we welcome your feedback on its content. It would be appreciated if this newsletter could be forwarded to all clinicians in your practice.
