WNSW PHN is an independent, not-for-profit organisation funded by the Commonwealth Department of Health and plays a pivotal role in supporting GP General Practice and Primary Health Care services to better meet the health needs of the community and patients. The organisation works with a range of primary health care oriented councils and clinical service providers to plan and fund programs based on the health needs of the region in order to better connect local health services to meet local health needs.

Position Vacant : Accounts Officer, Dubbo

The Western NSW PHN is seeking a suitably skilled Accounts Officer to be based in our Dubbo office. The Accounts Officer provides essential financial services to the organisation including processing payroll, accounts payable and other general tasks. Working as part of the Corporate Services Team, the role also assists the Finance Manager in the processing and preparation of financial information.

Position Vacant : MyHealthRecord Engagement Officer, Dubbo, Orange or Bathurst

The MyHealthRecord Engagement Officer will work with the Digital Health Agency Central Communications Team to develop and implement a WNSW PHN Local Communications Strategy for engagement with consumer groups and health care providers. This role will identify local promotional channels including; online, face to face, radio, print and other local channels to reach consumers.

This is a part-time role, at 30 hours per week.

Seeking Expressions of Interest : General Practice Liaison Officer (GPLO), Bathurst

The Western NSW Primary Health Network (WNSW PHN) and Western NSW LHD are jointly funding this position to improve the interface between the Local Health District (LHD) and primary health care by providing input into the planning and development of services at the local level, ensuring care is integrated across the entire patient journey and appreciating the position operates within a broader Local Health District (LHD) network of service delivery.

The GPLO will liaise closely with the Bathurst Health Service, General Practices and Aboriginal Medical Services within the vicinity of the health service where they will be based.
