Western NSW Primary Health Network (WNSW PHN) recognises the importance of access to quality local Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities for primary health care professionals across our region. As part of our Practice Support Program WNSW PHN offers a comprehensive CPD Program for primary health care professionals. WNSW PHN fosters a model of integrated education whilst also providing profession specific opportunities as required.

WNSW PHN delivers a range of high quality CPD events in partnership with regional education providers, health organisations, health service providers and individual health practitioners.  The delivery of the CPD program is aligned to three key philosophies:

  • CPD sessions and content are driven by the local needs;
  • Where possible partner with local facilitators and presenters;
  • Focus on providing opportunities that are not already locally accessible.

WNSW PHN is accredited with both the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) and the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) to provide accredited education events.
